The system CIFA SPRITZ appeared as a innovational, modal and universal
technology that allows to resolve shotcrete feeding and distribution,
in the best way, manually as well as automatically in the confined space
as well as outdoors. The PCS series for manual shotcrete work embody the
best solutions ideas and experience of CIFA shotcrete units’ creation.

Main features
Rigid monoaxle trailer with drawbar 4 manual adjustable
outriggers and 2 rubber wheels.
Suitable for transit on the job-site with the speed 6 km/h
The unit is not prearranged with lights and brake systems.
Power source consisting of a separate engine (Diesel or electric). Main
pump of axial piston type with variable capacity and constant power.
Gear pump for auxiliary services.
The machine is prearranged for the pumping unit of PCS6" Series
with “S” valve in wear-resistant casting iron, longitudinally placed
on the chassis. A wear ring is mounted between the eye-plate and valve,
for a perfect seal, assuring the stiff pumping of the sprayed concrete.
CIFA system tackled with the compensation ring which allows avoiding
annoying adjustments.
The equipment is presetted to use the new proportional batchers "Silicaflux",
suitable for liquid or powdered accelerators with density from 3% to
20%. The batcher is automatically connected with the sprayed concrete
pumping system. Consequently, by varying the sprayed concrete pumping
output, the accelerators quantities are adjusted automatically, keeping
the batching ratio pre-set by the operator.

Guniting is the method of concrete mixture application
on the concrete surface in layers under compressed air pressure. Under
this method solution is applied and concrete mixture is splashed by
grouting machine under compressed air pressure on the construction’s
surface as a shotcrete. Grouting machine is been constantly loaded with
dry sand-concrete mixture and pumping distance is upwards to 70 m. Shotcrete
is characterized by high density and water resistance.
The
sprayed concrete is applied when:
• Versatile technology of concrete application on the building constructions
under heavy pressure in order to get high quality concrete at restoration
work hydrotechnical and other objects.
• Batter&bias
Protection. The operation life of the latter is increased thanks to
crack absence. Onlay thickness can be diminished as the shotcrete bears
against to the earth & rock base circuit. Shotcrete onlay is distinguished
by superior durability under deformations, better loading and tension
distribution compared with simple concrete onlay
• Upkeep
and recovery of hydrotechnical constructions. New upkeep technique for
concrete constructions by shotcreteing with wire cloth is applied for
dam, sluices, cooling stack, embankment, bridge and other constructions
building. The hydrotechnical constructions renovation allows to reduce
the number of workers and operations and to finish work faster during
the navigation. The sewage culvert constructions and restoration can
be performed from within, without uncovering the duct and excavations.
• The
building restoration damaged by earthquakes and others unpredictable
charges. The shotcrete of high density, applied under heavy pressure,
possesses other advanced exploiting features, including higher resistance
against wearing power, corrosion, weathering. Contraction is also lower.
